Listening to favorite radio station

I don’t really listen to any radio station. When I have free time I usually listen to my CD’s or I-pod. Since we have to listen to a radio station for an hour I picked 95.5 FM. I have some cousin’s who likes to listen to 95.5. I like all different kinds of music, country, hip-hop, or rock. At work I have to listen to one of the jazz station, which was good at first, but it’s extremely boring now. I don’t prefer to listen to any songs with cursing words. If the lyrics of the music are not well written, I think it’s not necessary for me to waste my time listening to music. I didn’t know what kinds of music to expect from 95.5. I was listening to what ever they were playing within that hour. I liked most of the song beside some. Thou it was very boring to listen to music when I was thinking about my biology exam to study for. I think the target audience for this station are the teens or people in there late twenties. Because right now most of the younger people prefer to listen to hip-hop lot more. But even thou majority of the younger generations like listening to hip hop, I think there are still a big portion of the grown up who enjoy listening to music that’s being played in 95.5. From listening to the ads in the station 95.5, the one thing that I heard most was they talk about the different parties that you can go to in the Detroit areas. So people who likes to party its a good way for them to find out where the parties are at.

I guess the radio isn't as popular has it used to be. Most people walk aroung bobbing their heads, and if you don't see earphones, you'd think everyone way crazy. I have my Ipod too, but I think I over-react with mine!! Lol!

95.5 is definitely good to put on when you want to hear anything popular at all...

What sort of music does this station play? Is it the ads alone that make you think this station is for a young adult audience, or is the music targeted at this audience as well?

Why is the jazz station boring?
